Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökhan Sert
I was born in İzmir in 1990. I completed my primary education and high school education at İzmir Turkish College. I graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2013. I completed my plastic surgery training in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2019. I worked as a clinical fellow in the China Medical University Hospital Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Taichung, Taiwan, which is directed by Prof. Dr. Hung Chi Chen, an important surgeon in the field of Reconstructive Microsurgery, between 2019-2020. I participated in training as an observer at the National Center for Global Health and Medicine, Supermicrosurgery International Lymphedema Center in Tokyo, Japan, which is directed by Prof. Dr. Takumi Yamamoto, and at the Hiroshima University Hospital, International Center for Lymphedema in Hiroshima, directed by Prof. Dr. Isao Koshima.
I completed my state service at Ankara Training and Research Hospital, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. In 2020, I obtained the European Board of Plastic Surgery certificate, earning the title of FEBOPRAS (Fellow of European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery). Read more…
